The Twenty-forth session of North Eurasia Climate Outlook Forum (NEACOF-24)

The 24th session of the North Eurasian Climate Forum (NEACOF-24) was held on June 14, 2023. NEACOF-24 was held in the form of a parallel section of the International School-Conference on Computational and Information Technologies for Environmental Sciences CITES-2023 (June 13-23, 2023, Moscow). The main objective of the NEACOF forum is to unite the efforts of scientists and specialists in the field of long-term forecasting to improve the quality of forecasting the behavior of the climate system for the upcoming season. The purpose of NEACOF is to assess the current climatic anomalies in Northern Eurasia, compile a consensus forecast of air temperature and precipitation for the upcoming summer of 2023 and discuss the possible consequences of the expected anomalies on the economy and social sphere.
